Beautiful running and hiking trails around the hotel
At our hotel reception you can get the Ansfelden running route map with a wide variety of routes and options. Along the beautiful Krems or in the center of Ansfelden invite you to simply switch off your head and listen to the sounds of nature and move – in every direction. There is something for everyone on the running routes, no matter whether you are a beginner or a professional runner.
Symphony hiking trail
Starting in the center of Ansfelden, Bruckner’s birthplace, the hiking trail leads through fields, meadows and hilly forest landscape to St. Florian, where the great composer’s burial site is located. Length of hiking trail: approx. 9 km / walking time: approx. 2 ¾ hours

Motor skills park
In the motor skills park, sports enthusiasts will find different equipment and exercise options for every age group. Coordination, fitness and dexterity can be trained playfully and free of charge. Each of the over 100 devices or each station is explained in detail on information boards: There are tips on sports science goals and how best to train.
The devices were developed according to sport and training science considerations and offer a variety of challenges in the five core areas of motor skills: coordination, strength, speed, mobility and endurance. The motor skills park is not a playground – it’s a training area!

The Oedter See is an artificially created swimming lake in the west of the city of Traun in the Oedt district. It is part of a local recreation area that also includes an outdoor pool, an indoor pool with a sauna and an ice rink.

The Ausee is a 23 hectare bathing lake in the middle of the beautiful Danube floodplains. ABC – Anton Bruckner Center
The ABC – Anton Bruckner Center was opened in June 1996. As a multifunctional event center, the ABC offers a year-round and extensive cultural program on the one hand and the possibility (by renting) of celebrations, parties, seminars, conferences and much more on the other. to organize. With its rich and varied cultural program, the ABC was able to establish itself as an integral part of the Austrian cultural scene within a very short time.
Anton Bruckner Birthplace
Places where famous people have lived and worked have always been inspiring. It surrounds the aura of the special. Along with Franz Stelzhamer and Adalbert Stifter, Anton Bruckner is one of the most important personalities in Upper Austria. Accordingly, various museum facilities have been built or adapted in Upper Austria in the past few decades. On April 2, 2014, a completely redesigned museum will be opened in Anton Bruckner’s birthplace in Ansfelden.
